Announcing the Care Staff Wellbeing Service

Updated: May 22

Lawrence Way Community Counselling Service, in collaboration with NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG, is delighted to announce the launch of the Care Staff Wellbeing Service.

In response to the trauma, loss and increased complexity that staff across the care sector are experiencing during the COVID-19 pandemic, additional support is available to those working across residential care homes, nursing homes, domiciliary care and supported living in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Care staff can use this service to access a supportive and non-intrusive listening and talking space to help with their immediate wellbeing needs and concerns. The service is entirely confidential, and can be used for support with stressful situations relating to personal as well as professional circumstances.

To access the service, please call Lawrence Way Community Counselling Service's confidential answering service on: 01223 425419 or email lesley.mcmillan1@nhs.net, giving your name, a contact number, and stating you would like to use the Care Staff Wellbeing Service. A team member will return your call within 24 hours (or next working day over the weekend).
